Everytime I dye my hair it starts fading within a week or two even when I only wash it once a week in cold water (which I've been told to do when dying hair) what do u recommend
Anonymousit sounds like you are using a demi permanent hair dye….. get a shampoo / conditioner that is safe for color treated hair, and make sure you aren’t using any volumizeing shampoos or conditioners (because they fluff out your hair shaft making it easier for the lil color molecules to escape ) when I dye my hair I always use a semi permanent color (clairol natural instincts brass free) and i never really have problems with fading besides a little bit and i wash my hair a lot!
